A BER certificate is a measure of how much energy and carbon your house or apartment will use or produce in a year. It is like an energy rating you will see on domestic appliances. Your house or apartment must have produced, if it is for sale or rent. The certificate is valid for 10 years. A non-invasive survey of your premises is carried out, the measurements input into a DEAP software and a BER is produced. Contrary to information on some websites, your BER assessor is obliged as part of the service to provide an advisory report listing suggested improvements which can improve your ratings. Using the DEAP software, a series of 'what if' changes can be input to see how a rating may improve, although you are not obliged to carry out any suggested improvements. We are certified by SEI as BER assessors and provide this service at a competitive rate for domestic dwellings. We can also provide costs and carry out improvement works, if required. C.I.F. CONTRACTORS RETROFIT REGISTER
Grants are available through SEI for various upgrades of roof and wall insulation, heating appliances and controls to your property. We are registered both with the Home Energy Scheme and the Construction Industry Federations Retrofit Register. We can a One Stop Shop from carrying out the initial Building Energy Rating to yopur property, suggesting improvments and their value in energy saving and increased comfort levels, costing selected improvments, carrying out a building Energy Rating on completion of works and provide all grant required documentation.

We specialise in painting and decorating of private houses, apartments and flats, and commercial premises using our qualified and trustworthy tradesmen. Preparation is the key to a good finish and we only use top quality materials. We will work to an agreed programme in order to minimize any inconvenience to you and will hand over a neat and tidy job.
